Bondi Promised Epstein Files, But Hasn't Delivered. Some Want Her Gone.
Trump’s attorney general is facing MAGA backlash after the DOJ closed the book on Epstein disclosures—despite earlier signals more would be revealed.

Pam Bondi, Donald Trump’s attorney general, is under fire from Trump’s own supporters after walking back promises of major disclosures in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Epstein was a wealthy financier and convicted sex offender who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, amid years of speculation about powerful figures in his orbit.
Weeks ago, Bondi claimed she had a “list of Epstein clients” on her desk and promised a “truckload” of FBI documents would soon be released. But this week, the Department of Justice released a memo stating that “no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.”
Trump himself seemed annoyed by the ongoing obsession. “You still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?” he asked a reporter during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, sounding visibly exasperated.
Bondi responded more bluntly: “He committed suicide.”
But MAGA influencers aren’t letting go. Glenn Beck, Jack Posobiec, and Laura Loomer are calling for Bondi’s firing. “How many more times is this woman going to get away with [messing] everything up before she is FIRED?” Loomer asked on X.
Additionally, Democrats are piling on. In a six-page memo, House Democrats wrote, “Stop protecting your boss and former client.”
👉 What’s really behind the growing MAGA revolt—and how serious is the backlash inside Trump’s orbit?
In today’s Pro Brief: we unpack Bondi’s controversial record, what the DOJ memo actually says, and the impact this this may be having on Trump’s coalition heading into 2026.
